Please notify us before sending any items so we know what to expect and who it is from. Some shipping providers may require us to verify shipments, so having this information in advance is important.
Use the form below to give us a quick heads-up. While reviewing, please take note of our donation guidelines on the right—particularly regarding broken items. Although it may seem counterintuitive, we cannot accept damaged equipment. Gigabyte Grove is not a landfill, and we should not be responsible for disposing of items that are no longer usable. Please be considerate and ensure donations are in proper condition.
In order to safely and effectively donate to Gigabyte Grove, we have setup some ground rules to ensure that our time is utilized as well as yours is. Please follow these rules when you are deciding what you wish to donate to us. Click each item to expand the explanation.
We kindly ask that donated items be in good, usable condition. Please avoid sending equipment that would require extensive repairs or has been damaged by improper storage, such as electronics left outdoors.
Unless specifically requested, please do not send broken items. We are not a disposal service for damaged technology, and such items should be disposed of properly. Any broken equipment received will be returned to the sender.
If your donation includes batteries, please remove or disconnect them before shipping. For example, Uninterruptible Power Supplies (UPS) should not be shipped with batteries installed. For items such as laptops, kindly remove the battery, wrap it securely, and include it separately with the device.
DSS (Digital Satellite System) dishes like those from DirecTV and Dish Network are considered Oblong dishes and have a different focal point than other types of dishes. The only exception would be “Primestar” dishes but those are generally not available in this day and age.
We are generally looking for larger dishes, the size of a “HugesNet” internet service dish and larger. Optimally we’re looking for older dishes from the 80s and 90s.
We accept cables only if they have been properly stored and are in good condition. Please do not send cables that are wet or show signs of water damage or exposure.
