About

Project overview

HA Probulator monitors TCP endpoints directly from Home Assistant and exposes the results as normal Home Assistant devices and entities.

It tracks reachability, response time, rolling reliability, probe counters, outage duration, and other network-health data without depending on ICMP ping or a separate monitoring server. Targets are configured through the Home Assistant UI and can be used with built-in cards, automations, history, templates, or the optional HA Probulator dashboard cards.

The project also fires state-change events and provides diagnostics so network availability can participate in normal Home Assistant automation rather than living in an isolated monitoring dashboard.
