Neighborhood Encrypted eXchange for Unified Signals
NExUS (Neighborhood Encrypted eXchange for Unified Signals) is a community radio system that combines secure, encrypted communications with controlled public access. It functions like a neighborhood-wide digital backbone, allowing trusted users and services to talk on encrypted channels while still providing the public with listen-in access through designated talkgroups, streams, or gateways. Information can easily be received with a common SDR using ISM channels.
Systems that have been decommissioned, replaced, or abandoned. Lessons learned documented.
